The Open Startup Tunisia Pre-incubator project, implemented by Open Startup Tunisia and supported by the Innov’i-EU4Innovation project for a period of 18 months, aims to strengthen its pre-incubation programme, Tech for good, dedicated to young entrepreneurs’ ideas of high-impact and to technological startups. OST offers a free support programme including entrepreneurship training as well as enhanced technological training, national and international mentoring, prototyping support and access to financial capital. OST also aims to broaden its field of action in the MEA (Middle EastAfrica) region by offering privileged access to start-ups in the region and intends to introduce dialogue between startups and actors of the traditional economy by building an ad-hoc programme in collaboration with Deloitte [1].

On 06/30/2021 the Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investments, represented by its Director-General, Mrs. Inji Dougui, participated in the 2nd virtual event of the series “Reconstruct better: Instruments and interventions to promote responsible agricultural investments” organised by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Objectives of this event:
✔ Sensitize participants to the potential of incentives as part of the strategies to promote responsible investment in agriculture and food systems, as well as the risks that may arise from inappropriate use of incentives;
✔ Share good incentive practices that stimulate responsible investments in agriculture and food systems;
✔ Launch the FAO-CCSI Guide on Incentives for Responsible Investment in Agriculture and Food Systems. During this webinar, the Director-General of APIA gave a presentation on “Support and promotion programmes for the initiative of young agripreneurs”.
APIA is one of the agricultural public institutions highly interested in the future of agriculture in Tunisia, with various programmes like Watermedyin and many others, such as the agripreneur and Agri-Accelerator.
